Learning a language

Learning a language has almost became a necessity. Indeed, we as humans, have reach a point where being able to communicate in another language has become crucial for our professional growth. Most professional opportunities I’ve come across “required” the knowledge of another language. In order for any person as well as any company to be able to grow beyond its native borders, the need to speak another language is a “requirement”. Rather it is French, Italian, Japanese, German or else, this bilingual capacity will definitely be a plus.As we are about to enter the year 2010, maybe it would be a good thing too add “Learning a new language” or “Being completly bilingual by the end of 2011” to your new year’s list.

Lucky for you, there are lots of schools, colleges, universities, translators that are willing to give you that opportunity by giving a little bit of their time for the new “learning project” you have, of course JCTraductions is one of them.

At JCTraductions we understand that you might not have the time to sit in a classroom, especially if the last time you did that was a long time ago. So we’ve created “Express learning”. This feature allows anybody who needs to learn a new language to do so, at home, in front of a computer, in a comfy couch or even in your kitchen (with a sandwich in your hand).

Well you don’t need to look no further. If you’re interested in learning a new language, or if you know somebody who’s dying to speak French or else, this feature is the best thing to use and it will be available on October 22nd 2009 on our ‘Classes website”. This feature covers all the basic technicalities you’ll need to converse/understand your interlocutor. It is available in French, English, Spanish and Japanese and is very affordable.

So how about we start speaking that new language!!!

Our Offices
JCTraductions will soon open new offices in Houston, TX and Vancouver BC (Canada).
The phone numbers for those offices will soon be available on our website as well as for the other offices located in Europe and one in Asia.
The phone numbers used to be on the website  but we then decided to change them into 1800 numbers... The process took us a long time as we were trying to get the same company to provide numbers all over the world. We finally were able to do that and soon we will make them available for you.
We apologize for any convienience this might have caused.
Thank you for your patience.

Our Translations
We are often asked by our clients what kind of process fo our translations go through. Well...

  1. We translate in/from all major European languages. Each language has its own department which is supervised by native speakers. Each department has five native translators.
  2. When we receive a translation we do the following:
  • We assign the document to the appropriate department
  • The translator(s) start(s) the translation
  • Every 5000 words (which is our translator's input per day), what has been translated is then forwarded to the reviewer. If the terminology used by the translator is approved by the reviewer then the translator(s) can keep on using the same terminology. Otherwise they will have to use the one given by the reviewer.
  • Then once the translation project is done the supervisor revises it again for final approval.
  • Then the document is  fowarded to the client 'Ready to Publish"

keep in mind that we have over 2000 freelance translators in our database that are ready to take on any project. The same process is used on the translations done by our freelance translators. And the end resukt is always the same...THE BEST TRANSLATION JOB THERE IS!!!!
